Abstract | A fuel cell assembly (10) is provided with: an electrode member (2) having: a membrane electrode assembly (20) having an electrolyte membrane and an electrode catalyst layer; and a gas diffusion layer (21, 22); a solid rubber gasket (30) disposed in a frame shape on the outer side of the surface direction of the electrode member (2); and an adhesive member (40) that has a thermoplastic polymer, is disposed in a frame shape on the outside in the surface direction of the electrode member (2), and is adhered to and integrated with the electrode member (2) and the spacer (30). The bonding method of the bonding member (40) to the electrode member (2) is at least one of immersion in the gas diffusion layers (21, 22) and bonding to the membrane electrode assembly (20). The adhesive member (40) covers at least the outer peripheral end surface of the electrolyte membrane.
