Abstract The invention provides a method for intensively leaching high-quality monazite molten slag, and relates to the technical field of hydrometallurgy. The method adopts a two-stage leaching mode to enhance leaching: in a first-stage pre-leaching process, leaching liquid residual acid generated by two-stage enhanced leaching is used for pre-leaching the excellent soluble slag, so that the valuable metal content of the leaching liquid is increased, the concentration of the residual acid is reduced, the dissolution rate of other impurity elements is reduced, and the filtration performance of ore pulp is improved; the spent acid utilization rate is improved; the overall acid consumption is reduced; the first-stage pre-leaching does not need heating, the ore pulp is naturally heated by using reaction heat, and the energy consumption is effectively reduced; the reaction conditions are relatively mild, and the requirements on equipment and operation environment are low; aging or standing is not needed, operation is cont
