Abstract | The invention discloses an additive for secondary copper alloy melt treatment. The additive comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 20-40% of an impurity removal agent, 10-25% of a gas forming agent, 3-5% of nitrate, 5-15% of rare earth elements and the balance of sodium carbonate. The invention further discloses a preparation method and a use method of the additive for secondary copper alloy melt treatment. The blocky solid additive is obtained by compositely adding the impurity removal agent, the gas forming agent, the nitrate, the rare earth element and the sodium carbonate and controlling the contents thereof.
