Abstract | The invention relates to the field of microorganisms, and discloses fermented lactobacillus mucus with a decayed tooth resisting function and application of the fermented lactobacillus mucus. The lactobacillus mucus provided by the invention is classified as Limosilbacillus fermentum, is named as a WHH2483 strain, is preserved in the Guangdong Microbial Culture Collection Center on March 3, 2023, and has a preservation number of GDMCC No: 63221. The WHH2483 strain has an excellent inhibition effect on the growth of streptococcus mutans, can inhibit the formation of a streptococcus mutans biological membrane, and has an excellent capability of inhibiting the generation of dental plaque. The WHH2483 strain has good capability of being copolymerized with streptococcus mutans to enable the streptococcus mutans to lose the capability of being adsorbed on the surfaces of teeth.
