Abstract The invention provides a method for co-producing needle coke and spinnable asphalt, which comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out solid removal treatment on an aromatic-rich raw material to obtain solid-removed oil slurry; (2) hydrofining the solid-removed oil slurry to obtain hydrogenated oil; (3) carrying out reduced pressure distillation on the hydrogenated oil, and dividing the hydrogenated oil into light distillate oil, middle distillate oil and heavy distillate oil; (4) carrying out delayed coking on the middle distillate oil to obtain needle coke; a coke drawing medium in the delayed coking is a mixture of the light distillate oil and coker diesel oil; and (5) carrying out polymerization reaction and oxidation reaction on the heavy distillate oil to obtain the spinnable asphalt.
