Abstract | The invention discloses a high-directivity backlight module and a display. The high-directivity backlight module comprises a plurality of light sources, a shade and a plurality of cylindrical lenses. The plurality of light sources are arranged along a first direction. The shade is arranged on the light emitting sides of the light sources and provided with a plurality of slits which are arranged in the first direction and correspond to the light sources respectively, the side, facing the light sources, of the shade is provided with a reflecting face, and light emitted by the light sources penetrates through the shade through the slits. The plurality of cylindrical lenses are arranged on one side of the shade opposite to the plurality of light sources and are arranged along the first direction to respectively cover the plurality of slits, wherein the plurality of slits are in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of cylindrical lenses.
