Abstract The invention discloses a high-directivity backlight module and a display. The high-directivity backlight module comprises a plurality of light sources, a shade and a plurality of cylindrical lenses. The plurality of light sources are arranged along a first direction. The shade is arranged on the light emitting sides of the light sources and provided with a plurality of slits which are arranged in the first direction and correspond to the light sources respectively, the side, facing the light sources, of the shade is provided with a reflecting face, and light emitted by the light sources penetrates through the shade through the slits.
