Abstract | The invention provides an optical fiber transceiver fault detection method and system, and belongs to the technical field of computer-aided accessories, and the method specifically comprises the steps: carrying out the determination of a fault influence range and a position evaluation value of an optical fiber transceiver through the positions of different optical fiber transceivers in a communication network, and determining the port fault probability of the optical fiber transceiver by using the attenuation problem evaluation quantities of different ports and the types of the ports, obtaining a fault detection priority value of the optical fiber transceiver in combination with the position evaluation value and the number of the ports, and performing fault detection of the optical fiber transceiver based on the fault detection priority value. Therefore, the fault detection efficiency is further improved.
