Abstract | The invention relates to a defect tolerance design evaluation method and system for mechanical equipment. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring important parts, working condition load conditions and material attributes of an equipment structure in a nuclear power station; calculating plasticity collapse parameter values and fracture parameter values of the equipment structure under the condition of the plurality of assumed structure defects so as to obtain a plurality of groups of plasticity collapse parameter values and fracture parameter values; a failure evaluation curve is obtained, a group of plastic collapse parameter values and fracture parameter values located on the failure evaluation curve are determined from the multiple groups of plastic collapse parameter values and fracture parameter values, and the limit defect size of the equipment structure is obtained according to assumed structure defect conditions corresponding to the determined plastic collapse parameter values and fracture |
