Abstract A portable handheld electrospinning or electrospraying device for electrospinning or electrospraying a predetermined solution toward a deposition surface includes a durable portion of the handheld device and a consumable portion of the handheld device. The consumable of the handheld device may contain a solution output in an electrospinning or electrospray manner, and may be fully or partially replaced to provide an additional or alternative solution.
