Abstract The invention relates to a tyre (1) for a passenger vehicle, the performance of which is improved in terms of rolling resistance and which does not impair the lateral drift stiffness. The bead (50) is softened by using a low hysteresis material. Lateral drift stiffness is compensated by using a rigid and low-hysteresis sidewall layer (30).
