Abstract | The invention relates to an electric motor having a rotor and a stator (2) surrounding the rotor from the outside, the stator having wound coils, the winding being formed by at least one winding with a winding end portion, and the winding end portion being in electrical contact on the end side with a bus bar in a bus bar unit (1), the bus bar unit (1) is arranged on the upper side of the stator (2), and wherein the stator (2) and the bus bar unit (1) are directly connected to one another by means of a bayonet joint (10).
