Abstract | The invention belongs to the technical field of high polymer materials, and discloses a halogen-free flame-retardant polymer composition as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The halogen-free flame-retardant polymer composition is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 35 to 90 parts of thermoplastic polymer, 0 to 55 parts of glass fiber, 5 to 20 parts of diethyl aluminum hypophosphite and 0.5 to 10 parts of modified zinc sulfide, wherein the modified zinc sulfide is zinc sulfide coated with thermosetting resin, and the weight ratio of the thermosetting resin to the modified zinc sulfide is 1.5-30%. When the zinc sulfide coated by the thermosetting polymer is added into the thermoplastic polymer composition containing the diethyl aluminum hypophosphite, the tensile strength and the elongation at break of the composition are greatly improved compared with those of compositions in which the zinc sulfide without surface coating is added, and the melt stability is improved. |
