Abstract | The invention discloses a cable inner core counting method and a cable intelligent detector and a detection method thereof. The inner core counting method comprises the steps that the width and the height of a wire core imaging area serve as the long axis and the short axis of an ellipse respectively, the formed ellipse is unfolded to form a second equivalent rectangle, a transverse segmentation line of each layer of wire cores in the transverse direction is designed, the second equivalent rectangle is divided into sub-graphs of each layer with the transverse segmentation lines as boundaries, and the sub-graphs of each layer are obtained; each layer is downwards reduced into one row in the longitudinal direction according to a gray average mode, so that gaps between inner cores of the wire cores are calculated, the maximum number interval value serves as the width of the inner cores, the number of the inner cores of each layer is calculated, and the total inner core count is obtained through multi-layer summa |
