Abstract | This nonaqueous secondary battery is provided with: a nonaqueous electrolyte solution containing a compound (A) represented by formula (I); a positive electrode containing a positive electrode active material, the positive electrode active material containing a compound (B) represented by formula (II); and a negative electrode. The content of the compound (A) is more than 0% by mass and less than 1.0% by mass with respect to the total amount of the non-aqueous electrolyte solution. In formula (I), X + represents one selected from the group consisting of hydrogen ions, lithium ions, sodium ions, and potassium ions. In the formula (II), 0.1 < = a < 1.3, 0.1 < 1-b-c < 1.0, 0 < b < 0.6, and 0 < c < 0.6. And (II) imgabs0 # Lia Ni (1-b-c) CobMncO2.
