Summary: | According to one aspect, there is provided a system for providing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) decision support, the system comprising: a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensing unit configured to determine one or more PPG signals at a measurement site on a subject; a core unit comprising a user interface; a motion sensing unit configured to detect a motion related to chest compressions during compression therapy of the subject; and a processing unit configured to: determine the presence or absence of a spontaneous pulse based on motion associated with chest compressions detected during compression therapy of the subject and the one or more PPG signals; determining a suggestion to be provided based on the determination of the presence or absence of the spontaneous pulse, where the suggestion is associated with a CPR decision support; and control the user interface to output the determined suggestion.
