Abstract | The invention relates to the technical field of amorphous refractory materials, and provides an environment-friendly tundish dry material and a preparation method thereof. The environment-friendly tundish dry material is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: 45 to 55 parts of fused magnesite, 40 to 50 parts of sintered magnesite, 3 to 4 parts of a sintering agent, 3 to 6 parts of an organic binding agent and 1 to 3 parts of 4, 4 '-bis (2, 3-epoxy propoxy) biphenyl, the preparation method of the environment-friendly tundish dry material comprises the step of uniformly mixing the components in parts by mass to obtain the environment-friendly tundish dry material. Through the technical scheme, the problem of low strength of the organic environment-friendly binding agent in the prior art is solved.
