Summary: | The invention discloses a light-weight torque reducing structure suitable for the front end of a forward-turning type engine hood. The light-weight torque reducing structure comprises a base assembly fixed to the front end of a frame and a cross beam assembly with the middle end rotationally connected with the base assembly. The tops of the two ends of the cross beam assembly are hinged to the front end of the engine hood through hinge pieces. When the frame twists due to bumpy road surfaces, the torsion angle of the cross beam assembly is smaller than that of the frame due to limitation of the buffer mechanism, and therefore the purpose of reducing torsion deformation of the engine hood is achieved.
