Abstract The invention discloses a method for rapidly detecting weather resistance of titanium dioxide in a PVC (polyvinyl chloride) system, which comprises the following steps: S1, uniformly mixing PVC resin and a plasticizing modifier to obtain a master batch; s2, respectively taking the master batch, the titanium dioxide to be detected, the non-weather-resistant pigment and the stabilizer, and uniformly mixing; then forming to prepare a test sample; and S3, covering the part of the test sample, then isolating air, carrying out aging treatment, and visually observing or measuring the chromatic aberration between the uncovered part and the covered part. The method is more suitable for the use system of the PVC product, and is more environment-friendly on the basis of ensuring the test accuracy; the non-weather-resistant pigment is added into the formula, so that the testing time is shortened; by prefabricating the mixed master batch, the operation error is reduced, and the test efficiency is improved; compared with t
