Summary:The invention discloses application of melatonin in preparation of a medicine for inhibiting adhesion of enterotoxigenic escherichia coli to porcine small intestine epithelial cells. It is found for the first time that melatonin can inhibit adhesion of ETEC to IPEC-J2 in vitro, and the application belongs to new application of melatonin. The invention specifically illustrates that the expression of FaeG adhesion protein can be effectively reduced by pretreating ETEC for 6 hours with 100 [mu] M melatonin, so that the adhesion of ETEC to IPEC-J2 is weakened, the development of a novel ETEC infection treatment preparation is facilitated, and the problems of piglet diarrhea rate and death rate caused by ETEC infection are solved to a certain extent. 本发明公开了褪黑素在制备抑制产肠毒素大肠杆菌对猪小肠上皮细胞黏附的药物中的应用。本发明首次发现褪黑素可以在体外抑制ETEC对IPEC-J2的黏附,属于褪黑素的新用途。本发明具体阐明了100μM褪黑素预处理ETEC 6小时可以有效降低FaeG黏附蛋白的表达,从而削弱ETEC对IPEC-J2的黏附,有助于开发出一类新型的ETEC感染治疗制剂,在一定程度上解决ETEC感染导致的仔猪腹泻率和死亡率这一问题。
