Abstract A user device is configured to determine a threshold time for an injection device to transition from a storage temperature to an operating temperature. The user device may include a scanning device, where the user device may be configured to scan the injection device using the scanning device, determine a local temperature, determine a threshold time, and alert a user that the threshold time has been reached.
