Abstract | The invention relates to a Ga-based intermetallic compound as well as a preparation method and application thereof. Comprising the following steps: S1, polymerizing a surface-functionalized carrier, a hydrophilic polymer, a Ga precursor and a noble metal precursor by adopting a sol-gel method to form a composite hydrogel precursor; and S2, performing freeze drying on the composite hydrogel precursor, and performing high-temperature heat treatment in a reducing atmosphere to obtain the target Ga-based intermetallic compound.
