Abstract The invention discloses an event alarm reasoning method and system based on transformer substation model and rule instantiation. Standard signals and standard intervals of a transformer substation model are obtained through transformer substation data collected by a centralized control station system and a transmission relation of the transformer substation data; an event inference rule is obtained through logic operation of a standard signal in a standard interval; in the standard interval, updating a standard signal in the event inference rule by using an actually measured signal of the equipment in the actual interval of the transformer substation corresponding to the maximum comprehensive similarity to obtain an instantiated event inference rule; the instantiated event reasoning rule is displayed through a logical reasoning diagram; and acquiring real-time alarm information of the centralized control station system, performing event reasoning according to the logical reasoning diagram, and sending out an
