Abstract | The invention provides pseudomonas protegens as well as a microbial agent and application thereof, and relates to the field of microorganisms. The pseudomonas mutans is specifically pseudomonas mutans NT, and the preservation number of the pseudomonas mutans NT is CGMCC (China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center) No. 25090. The pseudomonas protegens NT provided by the invention can efficiently convert nitrate nitrogen, reduce the accumulation of nitrate content in soil and repair secondary salinized soil, has the capability of producing exopolysaccharides, promotes the formation of soil aggregates and increases the clustering force of the soil, and can be successfully colonized in rhizosphere soil of vegetables, so that the yield of the vegetables is increased, and the yield of the vegetables is increased.
