Abstract The invention provides a method for accurately controlling the width of a silicon steel continuous casting billet, which comprises the following steps of: (1) adjusting a crystallizer, namely adjusting the crystallizer before silicon steel production, and adjusting the size of an upper opening of the crystallizer; adjusting the taper of a narrow-surface copper plate of the crystallizer to 1.0%; adjusting the cooling water flow and the water inlet temperature of the crystallizer; and (2) production process control: continuous casting process parameters are controlled in the production process.
