Abstract | The invention discloses a method for preventing and treating red-necked longhorn beetles by spraying spray rods with slow-release medicament, which comprises the following steps: trapping adults of the red-necked longhorn beetles in the eclosion period by utilizing the chemotaxis of the red-necked longhorn beetles, and after the adults are trapped (40 days or more from the beginning of trapping to the end of the adults, the trapping cannot be finished), controlling the red-necked longhorn beetles in the spraying rod by spraying the slow-release medicament on the spraying rod, thereby preventing and treating the red-necked longhorn beetles. The method is 7-10 days after the adults are trapped.
