Abstract | The invention provides a water-tree-resistant overhead material as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The water-tree-resistant overhead material is prepared from the following components: low-density polyethylene, maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene, a toughening agent, an ethylene-butyl acrylate copolymer, polyethylene glycol, conductive carbon black master batch, an antioxidant and a cross-linking agent, wherein the mass ratio of the maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene to the flexibilizer to the ethylene-butyl acrylate copolymer is (0.5-5): (1-5): (1-3), preferably 1: (1-3): (1-1.5). According to the water-tree-resistant overhead material, the low-density polyethylene serves as a matrix, the maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene, the flexibilizer, the ethylene-butyl acrylate copolymer and the polyethylene glycol are added, so that the material has the water-tree-resistant performance, and the overhead insulating material with the water-tree-resistant performance can greatly reduce wat |
