Abstract | The invention relates to the technical field of transmission mechanisms, and particularly discloses a folding and unfolding mechanism for double ultra-wide and thin flat plates and an implementation method of the folding and unfolding mechanism for the double ultra-wide and thin flat plates. Comprising a main flat plate, an auxiliary flat plate hinged to a main platform, a locking device used for locking the main flat plate and the auxiliary flat plate after being folded, and a driving mechanism with the two ends hinged to the main flat plate and the auxiliary flat plate correspondingly. The driving mechanism comprises hinged seats which are respectively arranged on the outer sides of the main flat plate and the auxiliary flat plate and are hinged with each other, and a driving device of which one end is hinged with the hinged seats; the other end of the driving device is hinged to the outer side of the main flat plate and the outer side of the auxiliary flat plate.
