Abstract | The invention relates to a using method of track steering mechanisms of a deep sea walking device, the walking device comprises a vehicle body, track modules are installed on the left front portion, the left rear portion, the right front portion and the right rear portion of the vehicle body, a steering mechanism is installed between each track module and the vehicle body, and the steering mechanisms promote the corresponding track modules to rotate in the horizontal plane relative to the vehicle body; through the arrangement of the steering mechanism, free walking of the walking device in the deep sea seabed is greatly assisted and facilitated, especially when the walking device is trapped in seabed soft mud, effective self-escape can be conducted, and in-situ steering can be smoothly conducted under the condition that the influence on the seabed soil bearing capacity is reduced; therefore, the walking device can be smoothly used at the seabed of the deep sea.
