Abstract | The invention relates to the technical field of metal smelting, and discloses a process for extracting rubidium and cesium metals from lithium carbonate slag, which comprises the following steps: 1, material grinding; 2, material screening; 3, high-temperature reduction; and 4, condensing and collecting. According to the method, the chlorides of the rubidium and the cesium are heated and then condensed, and the chlorides of the rubidium and the cesium are separated through different condensation points of the chlorides of the rubidium and the cesium, so that the processing procedures are reduced, meanwhile, the processing efficiency is improved, and the processing energy consumption is effectively reduced; meanwhile, chlorides of rubidium and cesium are not ground into powder by a grinding device before being processed, so that the contact area of a reducing agent and mineral powder can be increased, and the reduction reaction efficiency is improved.
