Abstract | The invention provides a packaging method and a packaging device, and the method comprises the steps: placing a packaging film on a tray, and carrying out the punch forming of the packaging film, so as to obtain two first recesses which are symmetrical with respect to an imaginary plane; coating the upper surface of the packaging film with an adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer surrounds the outer side of at least one first recess; placing the battery cell in one of the first recesses; folding the packaging film along the imaginary surface, so that the two first recesses are oppositely combined to form an accommodating cavity for accommodating the battery cell, and the folded packaging film forms a partially closed structure; and the adhesive layer is pressed tightly. The packaging device is applied to the packaging method.
