Abstract | A glass plate manufacturing device is provided with a cutting device (1) for cutting a glass ribbon (GR) that is conveyed downward in a vertical orientation to form a glass plate (GS). A cutting device (1) is provided with a cutting mechanism (5) for cutting a glass ribbon (GR), a drive unit (6) for driving the cutting mechanism (5), and a dust collection device (4) for collecting dust generated by the drive unit (6).
