Abstract | The invention discloses a lithium iron phosphate battery waste recycling method, and relates to the technical field of lithium ion battery recycling. The method comprises the following steps: (1) pretreating a lithium iron phosphate battery to obtain black powder; (2) acid leaching; (3) adding iron powder into the leachate to remove copper; (4) adding a mixture of phosphate and a reducing agent or sodium fluoride into the copper-removed liquid, and removing aluminum to obtain aluminum slag and aluminum-removed liquid; (5) recycling the aluminum slag to obtain insoluble slag; (6) adding the insoluble slag into an acid solution, and dissolving to obtain a solution containing phosphorus, iron and lithium; (7) mixing the solution with the aluminum-removed solution, adding a phosphorus source, a lithium source, an iron source and a carbon source, and carrying out hydrothermal reaction to obtain a lithium iron phosphate precursor; and (8) sintering the lithium iron phosphate precursor to obtain the lithium iron pho |
