Abstract | The invention discloses a method for predicting a vehicle maintenance period. The method comprises the steps that the operation working condition of an engine and the initial engine oil pressure of a main oil duct are obtained; after the vehicle runs, obtaining the running engine oil pressure of the main oil duct and the running duration of the engine, and calculating the service life coefficient of the engine oil according to the running duration of the engine; if the service life coefficient of the engine oil is larger than or equal to a preset first threshold value, the remaining service life of the oil filter is calculated according to the operation engine oil pressure and the initial engine oil pressure; if the remaining life of the engine oil filter is smaller than or equal to the second threshold value, the engine oil and the engine oil filter are replaced together, and if the remaining life of the engine oil filter is larger than the second threshold value, the engine oil is replaced.
