Abstract The invention provides a fall injury risk prediction method for old people, which comprises the following steps of: simulating a home environment in a laboratory, monitoring the old people to finish the actions of directly crossing obstacles, avoiding movement obstacles, squatting and turning in the laboratory, and collecting kinematics data and dynamics data of the old people under each action; the falling posture of the old people under instability disturbance is judged in combination with a human body motion simulation model; the motion states of the four limbs and the trunk under each tumble posture are judged according to kinematics data before tumble, and then the first ground touching position of the body of the old person under each tumble posture is analyzed; and calculating the impact force applied to the joint corresponding to the first grounding position so as to evaluate the injury risk of the old people after falling down.
