The invention provides a device and a method for automatically adjusting a set value. The set value automatic adjusting device comprises a first temporary storage circuit, a second temporary storage circuit, a control logic circuit and a comparison circuit. The first temporary storage circuit stores an increasing value and a decreasing value. The second temporary storage circuit stores a first set value. The control logic circuit is coupled to the first temporary storage circuit and the second temporary storage circuit, and determines whether to adjust a first set value according to an increasing value or a decreasing value according to a trigger event. The comparison circuit is coupled to the second temporary storage circuit and the control logic circuit. The comparison circuit receives an input value and compares whether the input value is greater than or equal to a first set value so as to generate a trigger event to a central processing unit or a peripheral device.
