Abstract The invention discloses a fire extinguisher valve started by tightening and loosening a thread. The fire extinguisher valve comprises a valve seat, a valve cover and a sealing plug, the valve seat is mounted on the gas cylinder, and a gas channel is formed in the valve seat; the valve cover is directly or indirectly screwed on the valve seat, the sealing plug is arranged in a piston cavity formed by the valve seat and/or the valve cover, and the piston cavity is communicated with the air passage and the fire extinguishing agent outlet; and in the thread movement process of the valve cover and the valve seat, the sealing plug can block the upper end of the air channel so as to block the air channel and the fire extinguishing agent outlet.
