Provided is the production of a monocyte which is a starting material for dendritic cells used in the production of a therapeutic agent for adult T cell leukemia and the like. The present invention provides: a method for producing a monocyte sample from a blood sample; a monocyte sample produced by these methods; a dendritic cell induced by the monocyte sample; a regenerative medical product or the like, said method comprising: a step for obtaining a blood sample from a subject; and a step for subjecting the blood sample to monocyte concentration on the basis of specific gravity and cell size.
