Abstract | The invention relates to a self-walking robot with cotton bale grabbing, transferring and placing functions. The self-walking robot comprises a platform and a walking assembly which are connected with each other. A rotary driving device, a cotton bale hard surface detecting device, a cotton bale outer package removing device and a cotton bale unloading platform are arranged above the platform, and the cotton bale hard surface detecting device, the cotton bale outer package removing device and the cotton bale unloading platform are arranged around the rotary driving device. The rotary driving device is connected with a vertically-arranged first linear module, and a cotton bale grabbing device is fixed to a sliding part of the first linear module. Manual work is replaced by the self-walking robot, the procedures of grabbing, transferring, unpacking and placing of refined cotton bales are completed, the labor intensity of workers is reduced, and the automation level of a workshop is improved.
