Abstract The invention provides optical glass as well as a glass prefabricated part, an optical element and an optical instrument which are made of the optical glass. The optical glass comprises the following components by mole percent: 1-10% of Si < 4 + >, 25-40% of B < 3 + >, 20-40% of La < 3 + >, 0-15% of Gd < 3 + >, more than 0 and less than or equal to 10% of Y < 3 + >, 1-10% of Zr < 4 + >, 1-10% of Nb < 5 + >, 8-25% of Ti < 4 + > and 0-10% of W < 6 + >, and (Nb < 5 + > + Ti < 4 + > + W < 6 + >)/Y < 3 + > is 26-46.
