Summary: | The invention relates to a method for improving the low-generation breeding efficiency of high-resistance starch rice, which comprises the following steps: by using sbe3-rs gene-containing high-resistance starch rice as a donor parent, mixing and harvesting filial generations F1 to obtain F2 seeds; performing water separation by utilizing the characteristic of high chalkiness of high-resistant starch rice grains, and separating suspended grains to obtain F2 seeds; genetic typing detection is carried out on selected seeds after water selection, the ratio of obtained high-resistance starch homozygous single plants is averagely increased by 4-8 times compared with that of seeds which are not subjected to water selection, and the ratio of the obtained high-resistance starch homozygous single plants is increased by 4-8 times compared with that of manually selected seeds with high chalkiness (gt; and compared with 30.6%, the breeding efficiency of the seeds is improved by nearly two times.
