Abstract The invention discloses a preparation and application method of a slow-release antiviral agent containing fucoidan, which comprises the following steps: core material processing: mixing fucoidan, a polymer solution and a cosolvent according to the mass ratio of 1: (5-10): (0.05-0.5), and stirring at the temperature of 40-70 DEG C at the rotating speed of 2500-3000rpm for 3-6 hours; core material mixed liquid is obtained; shell material processing: weighing a shell material polymer, a shell material solvent, a thickening agent, an anti-freezing agent and a defoaming agent according to the mass ratio of 1: (5-10): (0.05-0.5): (0.05-0.5): (0.05-0.5), and polymerizing by adjusting the conditions of reaction time, reaction temperature, solution pH value, sample adding speed and the like. The preparation disclosed by the invention has the characteristic of slow release in a use process, can realize a long-acting inhibition effect on plant viruses, and can be widely applied to prevention and treatment of plant virus
