Abstract The invention discloses a millimeter wave radar road detection system and method, and belongs to the field of road monitoring design. In the system, a far and near double-pass detection radio frequency unit is designed in the layout of a millimeter wave radar, so that antenna beam coverage realizes scanning detection of a kilometer-level multi-lane road section area, and a global detection result of a full detection distance section is synthesized; besides, according to the millimeter wave radar road detection method, effective synthesis of wave beams in the space is achieved through the phased array technology, the radar wave beams can effectively cover a complete detection area through the far/near double-pass antenna design, and area scanning is completed within the set time; and finally, kilometer-level target tracking and flow sensing data are formed and reported to an upper computer system, so that detection tracking of a global target is realized. 本发明公开了一种毫米波雷达道路探测系统及方法,属于道路监控设计领域。该系统中,毫米波雷达的布局设计有远近双程的
