Summary: | The invention provides a preparation method of an aluminum-based composite material containing TiB2 and NbB2, which comprises the following steps: mixing titanium trialuminide and aluminum diboride, ball-milling and drying to obtain mixed powder; adding the mixed powder into an aluminum melt, reacting, removing impurities, and standing; then adding niobium powder, reacting under a stirring condition, removing impurities again, standing again, and pouring to obtain an aluminum-based composite material ingot blank containing TiB2 and NbB2; and the aluminum-based composite material ingot blank containing the TiB2 and the NbB2 is subjected to quenching and aging treatment, and the aluminum-based composite material containing the TiB2 and the NbB2 is obtained.
