Abstract | The invention discloses development and application of a KASP marker of a tomato ps-2 gene. The development of the KASP marker of the tomato ps-2 gene is realized through tomato material selection, tomato leaf DNA extraction and PCR amplification by using a KASP primer. Amplification products are detected and analyzed; the KASP marker of the tomato ps-2 gene can be used for molecular marker-assisted breeding of the tomato ps-2 male sterility gene; the method can be used for accurately identifying male sterile materials and male fertile materials, and has high practicability in screening of tomato male sterile plants.
