Abstract | The invention relates to an electrode for an electrochemical gas sensor and a manufacturing method and application thereof. The invention relates to an electrode (100) for an electrochemical gas sensor (1), the electrode having a gas-permeable membrane, and a graphene layer (3) applied as electrode material to the gas-permeable membrane (4). Such an electrode (1) is manufactured, for example, by applying a dispersion onto a gas permeable membrane, where the dispersion consists of graphene or graphene oxide in a volatile liquid, and vaporizing the volatile liquid.
