Abstract The invention discloses an efficient and green synthesis method of 2-phenylamino-3-methyl-6-dibutylaminofluorane, which is characterized by comprising the following steps: S1, condensation; and S2, hydrolysis. The preparation method mainly comprises the following steps: by taking 4-dibutylaminoketonic acid as a raw material, xylene as a solvent and p-toluenesulfonic acid as a phase transfer catalyst, carrying out condensation reaction with 2-methyl-4-methoxydiphenylamine, then adding a sodium hydroxide (or potassium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide) aqueous solution, carrying out hydrolysis reaction, standing for layering after the reaction is finished, and removing a water layer, thereby obtaining the 2-methyl-4-methoxydiphenylamine. And adding water to recover methylbenzene, separating out a product, and carrying out filter pressing and drying to obtain the 2-phenylamino-3-methyl-6-dibutylaminofluorane.
