Abstract | The invention relates to a method for improving the boiler load response rate by adjusting a coal mill in a frequency conversion mode through a rare earth motor. The method comprises the steps that S1, the design rotating speed of the coal mill is n; s2, the rare earth motor drives the coal mill to rotate; s3, when the boiler load is stable, the rotating speed of the coal mill is set as the rated rotating speed n; s4, when the boiler load instruction changes, the coal feeding amount of the coal feeder and the rotating speed of the coal mill are increased and decreased at the same time; s5, when the difference value of the boiler load instruction value and the feedback value of the boiler load is smaller than 0.5% of the boiler rated load, the boiler load reaches a stable state; s6, 1-2 minutes after the boiler load reaches a stable state, setting the rotating speed coefficient x of the coal mill to be 1; and S7, when the boiler load instruction changes again, the steps S4-6 are repeated.
