Abstract | The invention provides a device and a method for detecting respiration and heart rate based on biological radar. The device comprises a vital sign detection sensor 102, a WiFi module 103, a Bluetooth module 104, a power supply module 107, a display module 106, a real-time alarm module 105 and a single-chip microcomputer minimum system module 101. The vital sign sensor (102) is an IR-UWB (Ultra Wide Band) biological radar sensor. According to the method, nanosecond-level or picosecond-level narrow pulse signals are emitted through a vital sign detection sensor for detection, IR-UWB echo signals I and Q are processed through a single-chip microcomputer, and respiratory signals and heart rate signals are extracted through methods such as a specifically designed low-pass filter.
