Introduction of electronic components into drug delivery devices may bring about certain technical challenges such as durability, mechatronics, and drug delivery performance. The present disclosure provides a solution to incorporate an electronic module and an inhaler. For example, a printed circuit board (PCB) may be secured to a housing of an electronic module using a hot melt post. Also, for example, a slider may be used to transfer vertical movement of the inhaler yoke to a switch of the electronics module.
