Abstract The invention relates to the field of robot navigation, in particular to a robot path planning method and system, a robot and a storage medium. The robot body is controlled to move to a starting point; the cloud platform management server issues a path map to the robot body through the 4G communication module; the path map is a path map planned in advance according to the working area of the robot body and different advancing angles; receiving a positioning signal of the robot body to obtain a coordinate of the current position of the robot body or a coordinate area formed by a plurality of coordinates; judging whether an area through which the robot body passes is a working area or not; if not, giving an alarm; if yes, controlling the robot to move according to the selected path map; and returning to the initial position and giving an alarm after the operation is finished.
